Sweet Sabbath

"Love from the center of who you are; don't fake it.  Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good.  Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.  Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame.  Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant.  Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder.  Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality."
Romans 12:9-13 (The Message)

We love celebrating birthdays and spending time with our SITAG family, "good friends who love deeply".  This afternoon, our house looked a lot like the house in Pat Hutchins funny picture book, "The Doorbell Rang".  I was too busy having fun to take pictures.

People just kept dropping by for a chat, and it didn't take long for every crumb of Sarah's chocolate chip cheesecake to disappear.  We ended up with a full table, full tummies, and full hearts.

Tell Sarah "Cheesecake" Choate that I love seeing her loving on people with her cooking talents! Sounds like a wonderful day.

Love,
Liss
