I took Katherine to the polling station this morning.  She delighted in watching me feed my ballot into the machine as the digital reading changed from 152 to 153.  When we got home, we packed lunches so Olivia, Katherine, and I could drive to the Dallas Museum of Art's free First Tuesday.

By far, the girls' favorite part of the day was the performance by the Ollimpaxqui Ballet Company, this group danced in several different styles and included the audience so that the children stayed engaged during the entire forty-five minute performance.

We've returned home after completing our errands, and now the house smells like rosemary as the broccoli  brown rice pilaf and the honey rosemary chicken finish cooking.  It's such a treat to have easy access to broccoli again.  With choir rehearsal last night and church tomorrow night, we're all planning on an early bedtime...
