Dehydrating

This is the first time we have tried dehydrating in the Solomon Islands with the SITAG dehydrator. With pineapples so plentiful and cheap, we dehydrated nine of them in twelve trays in the dehydrator earlier this week. When broccoli showed up on an air freight shipment, we decided to splurge and buy a little bit to dehydrate and take to Marulaon in a couple of weeks. God is so good to give us treats like broccoli way out in the village.

That's so interesting...I'm curious to see the "after" pics.

And broccoli, a treat? Wow, I wish my kids would view it as that!

ummm...that pineapple looks delicious! I pray you have had a wonderful, restful Sunday. My dad has gone to the emergency room with pain again - we would love for you to say a prayer for us. Thanks,
Blessings,
Ava

Lori, the broccoli is a treat partially because it was soooo expensive, partially because it rarely comes to Honiara, and partially because we really do like it!

Ava, I will go tell the kids about your dad right now, and we will stop and pray for him, for the medical staff, and for you.

Love,
Joanna

Dear Joanna and family,
Daddy is home and feeling better - they gave him some new pain meds and said the blood counts and xray were GOOD - the pain was probably pleurisy - THANKS for your prayers from across the ocean- God has certainly answered prayers because it could have been the tumor growing again!
Blessings and prayers for you as well- Love,
Ava
