I love the potato family and family tree. I haven't been doing a very good job using art in our school this year... like no at all right now. I need to get rolling this looks like so much fun:)

I love using the Great Aunt Arizona book when I taught the ancestor writing unit in fourth grade. I also enjoyed The Relatives Came. It was fun to see what the children would write about their own families - The potato print family activity looks like fun too! With Eli going to school at 12:15, it seems we don't have time for a lot of "school". Ethan is learning all the time, though! He loves Barney and we are "reading" some words like football and his name. :) He will point and tell me what to write!
Blessings,
Ava

So cute!
My Mom has The Relatives Came at her house, and it's her favorite one to read to the kids. :)
